Hey I got some of that Sea Foam stuff and I was wondering if it is any good or not? Is there anything that it could hurt? And will it make a difference on my 96 Pontiac TA w/ 125k miles on it?

Sea Foam any good?

I have some experience with the stuff. From the stories that I've read, the only thing it might end up hurting is the O2 sensors. Occasionaly someone will use it and all the junk coming out the tailpipes will clog the sensor.
That said, I've used it and had no problems. I used the vacuum line from the stearing column (don't remember the exact name). My engine must have been fairly clean since I didn't have as much smoke out the tailpipes as some report. I did seem to notice a little better throttle response after using it. I didn't do any dyno tests though, so I can't say for sure.
If you have 125k on your car and haven't been using fuel treatment occasionaly then I highly recommend some kind of fuel treatment.....Seafoam or otherwise.Joe K.
