GM decided to re-use the LT1 code in 1992 with the new GENII motor in the Corvette, which ended up in our f-bodies.Tracy

And just to nit pick.... the 1970-73 carbed engine used in the Camaros and Corvettes was the "LT-1".... note the hyphen. The 92-97 engine is the "LT1".... no hyphen.
