  • NFB: Help me name my new kitty :)

This is my new kitty, I'm picking him up Saturday. He's a 12 week old Bengal cat (cross breed of Asian Leopard and domestic cat).

    Let's hear some names

I Have a few I was thinking of - all from the Super Mario series!

    Lakitu
    Koopa
    Goomba
    Reznor

I was also thinking "Link" from Zelda

    What else?
99 SS, MTI Lid, 3.90 gears, Hurst shifter, DMH 3" e-cutout

Name him Destroyer, or Devastator, that way no other cats would mess with him!

Call it a strange sense of humor, but I would call him Spot.

Pretty kitty. I like Spot too.

One day, I hope my Bug has a paint job similar to that.

Spot is also my choice. He won't come anyway when you call him (unless there's food being prepared), so you might as well call him what you want. I hope he doesn't find his wild side and claw your eyes out!

Ummmm, not true. Typical, and very common, but not true for all. You say his name at him enough constantly, he may pick it up. I'll vote for Spot

You're right it's not true all of the time. I'm not saying he won't learn his name - I'm just saying he will only come when he wants to especially if he thinks there's something in it for him. Some times he will just look at you like he doesn't care. Not like a dog. Dogs always come unless they are an unspecified distance away where they have established that your authority no longer applies.

Thanks for the info Jeff, turns out there is a breeder here in Nova Scotia that I can look into. Have you ever owned one of these cats before?
