i am going to college soon and my car is goning to be sitting in a parking lot a good bit. i have to have the tags showing that iam in the right spot, a car cover will not work. i can't find a window cover that will fit aross the windshild, 97 firebird has a bigger windshild then others cars that ppl made them for. my windows are have tent, but iam worried about the dash getting sun damage, if any knows what i could use it would be very helpfull. friend told me to put a towel across the dash and have the window cover up for the rest of the window. i don't know what to do.

Have you seen those magic type shades that fold into a circle? Well, the jumbo size package comes with two. They're a bit oval in design. They fit nicely (with some overlap) placing them length wise from the bottom of the dash to the visor area. In fact, you don't even have to put the visors down to hold them in.

Good luck and keep the waxing up.

go and read. his products have a uv rating of 40. and use the windshield block piece too...one for the back window can be proped in place as well.

a cover would be the best route.
