electrical problem part II

Well I went out and tried to adjust the gear slector switch but I realized the car has no power at all. If I wiggle the selector back and forth while in "P" . The car's power comes back for a split second then off again Right now nothing works as if no battery in the car. Any Ideas????

What happens when you put the car in neutral and turn the key?
