82 t/a carburetor for a good price

My 82 trans am has been having problems with stalling and the carb in it is a poor excuse for a rebuild. I'm on a very tight budget. I was wondering if anyone had this carb for sale for a good price or if you know a place to get it for a good price, I'd appreciate it. It's for a 1982 trans am V8 5.0 305 H.

y dont u look into a road demon jr? its like $250 but u dont have 2 worry about it not being rebuilt right and its already tuned n stuff, look in any jegs or summit, just a thought.

My local advance auto parts store has this in their ad. A Holley 600 CFM for $258. I have a rochester quadra jet on there now but it's a rebuilt and a poor one at that. I also experience stalling and lack of power. And a severe battery drain but that has some other cause.
