Picked up a spare tire for the Fiero..... never saw one of these. On the sidewall it says " Voyager LX" and "Roadhandler" what is this thing? It does say made in USA, but I'm really curious.
im 90% positive roadhandler is a smaller company under goodyear. I used to work at a goodyear store and im pretty sure that's what my manager tried to explain to me although i really didn't care.

then ur 10% wrong.....
there is no tire company named "Roadhandler". thats Sears Brand Designation for thier brand.
Sears and companies like that... write a performance spec for the tires they want to sell..... they dictate UTQG numbers, ride and handling, overall tread life, warranty...and such. Smaller and sometimes large..tire companies "bid" on the specs. One year, Kelly might get the contract, next year, Cooper might. the dot code has a plant code in it. i can tell you who built the tire on any tire if you give me the code.
Kelly and Cooper's business is almost 50% "aftermarket" brands.
