    I have stock rotors...I'm wanting to know if it's worth getting cross drilled and sloted rotor or just get Hawk HPS pads and keep my stock rotors????
    1997 Z/28, SS hood w/ Ram air K&N, MAF, Power programer, Air foil, Cat-back Flows, Strut tower brace, Lowering springs

    The short answer is that it's not really worth it... other than the "bling factor" that the rotors would give you. They'd definitely look sweet.

      I just got all 4 slotted an dimppled they are zinc silver plated so they not rust an had them painted red to match the car. i put them on an drove the car, Man I will never use a stock rotor agan. They are super. I would not get drilled they may crack.They look good on my car I have the y2k wheels Got them at www.potorpros.com $40-$70 per rotor.

        You painted your rotors???

        I use PowerSlot slotted rotors (no holes or dimples) with Hawk HPS pads. They work for me.

              Feel free to do a search in the brakes section of ls1tech, and there are plenty of threads in there talking about the myth that cross-drilled/slotted somehow improve braking performance...
