I've heard spraying ammonia/water mixture often works......also check with a pet store, as they most likely will carry repellants.....

good luck......cats and soft tops are a bad combination!

We have three Cats at my home. Nothing worse than coming out in the morning with little paw prints all over the dang car. I know they make sprays for furniture that keeps cats off them. Try a big pet store. (petsmart, etc...)

2005 GTO, Quicksilver, 6-Speed, DynaTech LT's and thats it. 366.6 hp/366.7 tq last time I checked.

I would use an occasional BB gun. Cats shouldn't be running loose in neighborhoods any more than dogs should.

                  Nicely done, Joe.

4 or 5 pumps from a 10 pump BB gun doesn't harm them though. It just gets the animal's attention enough to know to stay away. I don't have cat problems anymore. The wild animals (fisher cats, bobcats, and coyotes) ate all the cats that ran loose.

Joe, that is the funniest thing I've read in a while lol. It really steams me when someone gets on their soap box about "you can't do that to cats" or "cats are free animals" or "those aren't your pets, you can't do that". Its all a big load of crap. Heck, I know people that would shoot them on site, but not me by any means. I def. like your trap idea though. I've got a cat problem too, so I just may invest in one pretty soon. Any local pet store chain, right (e.g. Petsmart, etc.)?

Of course letting the dogs run loose would most likely solve the cat problem

Doubtful that you'll find the traps at a Petsmart..... you''ll need to search out a feed store. They come in various sizes, the cat sized version is about $50.
