Power door locks

Ok I got a new door transmitter an programed it. It will unlock the doors and will unlock the hatch but will not lock the doors. So went to shoebox site an it has the instructions that I got. Has Anybody had this problem an what the fix is.

I specialize in the 3rd generation, so i'm not sure if this is the same for you.

Check the power lock actuators. When you try to lock the doors, do you hear what sounds like they're even trying to lock? I believe that you also have relays. Some of the contacts on the relay may be bad or dirty, preventing it from locking.

I have a problem with my power locks. Press the button on the driver side or passenger side and nothing happened. No click or anything. I checked the fuses and they all seemed fine. That's as far as I got. Any suggestions?

Sounds like the window motor is bad. i think they cost about $45 at an advance auto parts store, if not a little cheaper.

Window motor? I don't understand. They are related to the power door locks???

Ok mine work now They fix there self. What the he?? does the power windows
have to do with the locks.Thanks guys

Sorry about that . I had another window open that they were having a window problem in.
