  • NFB: What does a fast forwarding screen mean?

sorry for the off topic. but

When ever I try to watch streaming video on my computer
the video and sound start fast forwarding for no apparent
reason. It happens intermittenly on just about any video/
or cartoon i watch no matter what the source (dvd, from hard disk), no matter what software player i use (WMP, divx, real player, etc), no matter what im watching or listening too it just keeps getting
messed up. it'll work good for 10 minutes then it fast forwards
all the sudden, I have had this problem for over a year now,
now that i watch more movies its really getting annoying.

    anyone have a possible solution?

btw: its a 16megabyte graphics card, 128 megs of ram
1 gig cpu, got the cmputer 2 years ago.

Note: computer games on my computer have no such symptoms.

    thanks for any help,
    Pascal

It's your video card that is the problem. Since you didn't list it, start with downloading the latest drivers. Uninstall the card in windows and install the drivers. You card might have some specifc procedure to go through so see the manufacturer's website.
