Gum on Carpet, NEED HELP ASAP PLEASE >

Hey guys,

I just found gum on the carpet right before the floormat on my 04 STI today at school. It's like 90 degrees, and i'm NOT sure how to get it off. I've heard ice cubes, but thats not making it so plyable. I sprayed some Stoner Glass cleaner on it and started rubbing it with a rag. That seems to have gotten the bulk of it of, but there is still some there. Anyone have any ideas, or great products that i can use? I was gonna goto a detailing shop because im lost. Will this gum mess up the carpet in the car? Please let me know!

i'd try the ice cubes, so it hardens up and if that doesn't work get some goo gone. Just a suggestion, i haven't had that problem yet. And post a sign.. no gum in car.
