GM in Germany - Opel Speedster

After reading the thread about the new GTO it seems like GM is making sharper cars outside North America. I went and checked the German GM (Opel) web site and found following car.



It has a 2.0 liter Turbo engine with 200 HP. It runs 0-100 km/h in 4.9 sec.

There was a report on a german TV car magazine that put the Speedster up against a Porsche (not sure anymore which one it was - was about twice the price, though - so probably a Boxster) - according to their driving tests, the speedster beat the Porsche in everything except top speed ... including 0-60 and handling ... (no 1/4mi times, though )
