Ever since i bought my car the abs and trac. control have not worked... i used a snap-on scanner to scan the codes and it had a bunch... i don't remember any of the numbers and i don't have access to the scanner any more but all the codes it threw were short circuits... any one have any ideas? i got reading from all the wheel sensors as well

Yup..... time to start checking wires. Trace the wiring from the front wheel hubs to the main harness, trace the one on top of the differential to the main harness as well. usually if you have a short, it is because of under wiring that either gets contamination in the weatherpack harness connectors or the wiring gets crimped or pinched due to some sort of impact from road debris.
