Just make sure they are insured. A friend of mine hired a guy to ship his 55 Chevy from NY to Georgia and he had an accident on the way. The car came out of the covered trailer and went careening down into a bank of trees. He was no insured so my friend was screwed.

Do a search on "T'nT".... which I think is for "truck and train". I had two cars shipped that way, including shipping my Formula from LA to NYC. They check your car, agree on the condition, drive it no more than 100 yards to an enclosed trailer on a rail car. Locked up, and remains untouched until it is driven another 100 yards out of the trailer and into the yard.
