I'm back into an F-body

Well i now own my 3rd 4th gen. I just picked up a 96 Formula with 43,000 miles from Ohio. It has a 6 speed, powerdyne 4.5 supercharger, and a Flowmaster exhaust. It is a red hard top with no pw, or power locks. It also has a few bmr goodies. The only thing I don't like is the flowmaster exhaust. It sounds good but I hate how the exhaust exits the rear. The deal was too good to pass up.

1LE on a Formula??

Yup, I saw a black '97 1LE Formula at the dealership I bought my T/A 8 years ago. It was black, hardtop, 6-speed, no power windows, no power doorlocks, cloth seats, and the only options it had were am/fm stero cassette & rear defroster.

They had it on the rotating platform which cought my eye so I head back and told my brother about it. He said he sat in it a couple days ago and told me the reason it was so plain was because it was the 1LE. This was the first time I heard about it.

I will have to check to see about it being a 1le car. It doesn't have fog lights either, just the holes. Did the 1le's come with ac? It has ac but came with only a cassette player.

fog lights were not an option in 96;, if my memory serves correct..... except the firehawk had them, and slp installed them as part of the hawk set up.
