  • Will double din radio fit in 96 Formula?

Friend has a new pioneer double din sitting around and I may buy it if it will fit. I think I remember hearing they won't fit though.
    Thanks

Ah we just had a good thread on it. http://www.f-body.com/forum/showthread.php?t=11158 I'd say no it won't fit. It looks like the 1.5 DIN just fits. (1/2 DIN =1", 1 DIN =2", 1.5 DIN=3", 2 DIn=4") Measure it yourself.

Hack, hack, chop, chop, you can never go back to stock (that was one of our sayings back in my early days of installing). Don't do it! You have to "slightly modify" a Ford, which is almost din and 3/4, so a GM would take "significant modifications" to make one work.
