  • TPS Sensor Installation Procedure

Is there an installation procedure for the TPS other than just "pull and replace"?

    Thanks,

    What year?

The LT1 is eays. Unplug harness, remove two screws (T15). Pull out sensor. Make sure you save the foam seal that is inside, leaving it around the end of the throttle blade shaft.

To reinstall, index the slot on the movable inner disc of the sensor to the flats on the throttle shaft, push in gently, and rotate a small amount against slight spring pressure until the holes in the sensor align with the holes in the TB. Insert screws and tighten. Attach harness plug.
