Mind you, this is a CA visual. But, if anything is modified that does not have a CARB EO, it is not street legal and will not pass the visual. Stupid? Oh you betcha. Hopefully CA is the only state like this.

well i found the problem.. it doesnt make any since but the ignition Fuse went out... I could see how this would have caused the problem i had, but i dont know how it happend.. ohh well im glad it was an easy fix.. Thanks guys for you input on the problem

I've heard of the opti-direct as well. Since it is just like the Caddy Northstar setup, I wonder if you could just take the setup off the Northstar and bolt it onto the LT1?

Glad you figured it out especially before you start slapping some expensive parts on it. Also it looks like at some point down the road hopefully later than sooner you'll need an opti especially with it stumbling at 1500 and at WOT I HIGHLY recommend Sam Taylor www.samtaylor.com. I got my non vented opti for just a little over $300 and it was only $8 for shipping compard to www.gmpartsdirects rediculous shipping rates and it came in 3 days.

Yea im Def. going to replace the opti soon.. im saving up to do it all at one time... Water pump, opti, plugs, wires, and headers... All in one so it will be mad easy to do the plugs and wires... anyways agian thanks for all the help.. tommorrow im gonna replace the 2 02 sensors my car is running mad rich and im sure thats the culpirt...
