NFB: I just got back from good ole Wisconsin!

Hi Guys!

I just got back from training from Safe Harbor Computers. We bought a new video editing system called the video toaster vt4.

Anyway who on here lives in Wisconsin ?

The guy that that the class had done some editing for the movie industry.

This was the first time I was ever on an airplane I really like it. Take offs remind me of take offs in the Z. It throws you back in your seat.

Weather was not too bad. It was chilly somewhat!

I was in Milwaukee and then I went to Waukesha!

I stayed in the Clarion Hotel. I really liked Wisconsin. The people were very friendly to someone like me who was a rank stranger. I never been this far away from home before.

I never flew on a plane before either!

Well TraceZ since I visited your state you need to come down and visit good ole West Virginia. You stay here at my house!

Just think a Red and Green Z28 would look sweet!

The weather up there where you are was a lot better than it is down here. We have been having a lot of rain!

I've never been to WV. Thanks for the invite, do you have room for 5? We are expecting our third child any day now. Flying is fun. My brother is a private pilot. We fly together locally often. Did you hear about the kid that ran out of gas over lake Michigan and fell into the lake last week? My brother and I actually rented that very airplane last fall for a run to the Dells. Scarry.

Did you hear about the kid that ran out of gas over lake Michigan and fell into the lake last week?

Yep, I seen that on the news in Wisconsin while I was up there! It is so sad, It scared me thinking what if that happened to me on my way back to WV?

We had to fly from Wisconsin back to Charlotte, North Carolina then get on a smaller jet and fly to Charleston West Virginia!

I liked Charlotte, NC too.

I would like to get a chance to meet all you guys on this forum. Everyone seems to be very nice and down to earth.

Have you ever fished in that big ole lake we passed over before we landed in Milwaukee?

I might get a chance to come back up in July! Maybe you guys and I could go fishing or something?

If I had know you all lived there, I would have tried to find a place we could have met at when I was training!

You could have shown me your rides. We could have had stake dinners and talked!

I work 2 jobs down here. Sometimes I get so tired and bored.

I really don't fish much and I have never fished in Lake Michigan! hah Its only about 10 minutes away from me. I want to do more fishing there though. I have some friends that go out on charters and do a lot of trout fishing I think. Smelting also looks like a lot of fun, throw your net in, have a beer and then pull the net full of smelt up.


Yah too bad you won't have your car when you are up here. You would have to ride shotgun in one of ours hah.

Yah I like living here, its nice and calm and really new, clean, etc. I've been out on the East Coast in Virginia and stuff, and just didn't like them at all. San Diego is the only other place I have been where I would actually consider living hahah.

I'll tell ya the list is growing with you guys in Wisconsin! I think I'm going to have to take a vacation up there and meet you fine folks.

I'd love to bring my Z and show it off and see your guys ride's. What kind of other activities could we do besides fishing? You guys know your state better than I do!

I really like the people up where you guys live because they are nice and polite. However, ya know since I live down here in West Virginia I do have some slang in my talking. Wisconsin folks did make fun of me for that but they were just kidding!

Well, fishing is a fine pasttime, but we mostly like to find a reason to have a tailgate party and a barbecue. The young uns usually pound a few until it gets dark, then go cow tipping. Sometimes on a Friday night, we all tie a hot dog to a string and go trolling for hogs. Who ever makes it back with the fattest ugliest girl wins.

So what do you do for fun in Dingess on a Saturday night? Go down to the motel and see who rented the room?

Well since I'm still single, I cruise for chicks and I don't mean hookers either. Sometimes we'll have a barbecue. Maybe go play some baseball or basketball.

So what do you do on your Saturday's? Huh?

How about playing horse shoes? You guys ever played horses?
