So, I've done some research and some comparison. At Fred's suggestion, I took a look at the Goodyear GS-D3 and started comparing it to the g-Force KDW. I've been very happy with the KDW and am willing to buy them again, but if the GS-D3 is better, I'd be willing to give them a shot. Anyone have some first hand experience comparing the two, or any opinions on them? Ken, Joe, Fred, anything from you guys? Thanks.

I just put a full set of D3s on my car. Total cost was pretty spendy - about $200 each for the 275's and $271 for the 315's. $100 for installation, $50 for shipping. I don't even want to add it up. My second chocie was the KD; however, after reading the reviews at Tire rack I chose the D3s. I have been caught in the rain a couple times on a trip and the Drag Radials hydroplaned real bad, so I wanted something that would shed water but still have a good dry traction. Apparently, that's how the D3s are designed. The 315's seem even wider than the BFG Drag Radials I took off the back, if that's possible. It is too early to tell you how well I like them cause the weather's been crappy here so not driving the car, and If I want t o do a burnout, I might put the drag radials back on there, or the original GSC's cause I'm not going to fry $540 worth of back tires!

the goodyears might be better the first 10k miles or so... but after that ..they may not live up to thier rep. why? because, for some reason, goodyear hp tires 's ShoreA (rubber hardness) rapidly accelerates when they are about 1/3 worn, especially if you do burn outs and race... i dont think they build them with some of the enthusiasts "driving styles" in mind. when the tread rubber's ShoreA goes up..traction becomes a real problem. this was the gatorbacks big problem... hard as rock after 20k... and thier other brand designations have suffered the same scenerio.

Thanks guys. There was only a $12 difference on Tire Rack I believe, so I could live with that cost, somewhat, but if they are going to harden up after a while, I'll definitely stick with the KDW. Keep 'em comin' guys, I really appreciate this

I cannot tell you how they will be over time obviously but I love my GS D3s. They are great in the rain and , although probably not that important, they are the quietest tire I have ever had on any of my F-bodies (I have owned 4). I do not have any experience with the KDs.Silver 02 WS-6, 6 speed, Corsa cat-back, SLP lid, K&N filter, BMR STB, !CAGs, Lou's short stick, MSD wires, MTI "Hammer" cam, ASP underdrive pulley, Hooker LTs, Hooker ORY, Comp 918s, TR pushrods, UMI Sfcs, UMI LCAs, NGK TR55s, Hotchkis springs
