did a stupid thing today...

forgot to set the alarm.

awoke around 5:10am...jumped out of bed....woke mary up... jumped in the van...she had to get ready and follow me in her envoy... and took the van down to the parking lot where me meet so the backup driver could take the folks to work....leave at 5:20am. what a crock.

im going to buy a backup alarm today. this sucks. wasted 9 hours of annual leave on this s#!t

on the other hand.. its a nice sunny day.

maybe ill go out and make the "upper speed warning" buzzer go off again...LOL

the gym, then Target for an alarm clock......

my built in alarm works..but it usually doesnt start till around the second day of the work week. i had just been off three days....it failed.

happens to all of us.......i woke up at 8:25 before and had to leave at 8:30....can you believe i made it?

But then you end up with bed head. Besides, a shower in the morning helps get your blood pumping. It also gets all the crap out of your eyes. I don't feel awake until I take a shower. When I was in college and my schedule was crazy I had to do mexican showers between work and school....

Procedure for a proper mexican shower:

Wash face and wet down hair.
Brush hair, brush teeth, shave if necessary
use wet cloth the quickly wipe arm pits
apply doederant to pits
put on clean clothes

If you are really talented, you can pee in the sink as you brush your teeth to save time. remember, every second counts!

No bed head for me, my hair is about 1/8th of an inch long. as long as i brush my teeth in the morning i should be set, along with deoderant of course.

Discovery channel just had a special on the history bathrooms and bathroom activity. Did you know that a couple hundred years ago, some people brushed their teeth with piss because it whitens the teeth. Also, to make matters worse, the toothbrushes were whalebone with boar bristles, quite expensive, and families usually shared one. After pigs ate their corn-on-the cob, the cobs were soft enough to wipe with. Then people used Sears catalogs until they changed to shiny paper which didn't work so well. By then, Scott tissues were invented. The ancients used leaves & grass except for the middle easterners and orientals who used their left hand. There are no left handed people in those countries. That's why it is a common punishment to cut off their right hand forcing them to eat with the "dirty" hand. Modern life does have it's advantages.

see here at RIT, someone decided to cut out the morning poop in the actual bathroom. they compiled their poop and their shower into one. The most disgusting thing i have ever seen in my college life. Luckily there are 3 shower stalls and the cleaning lady took care of it... but who leaves a nugget in the shower... come on
