alright so my tranny is goin out on my car and it's an automatic and i'd love to switch it over to a 5 speed..... is this to much of a hassle? and how much should it cost? give me some advice.... I'M SOOO LOST

You could easily spend about 1500-1750 for a conversion "kit" if you buy al the parts from a salvage yard and do the work yourself. What I would do is take that money, spend it on trading the V6 in for a V8 and hopefully you can find one that's a 6-speed. Then you've got a much faster car at the same time.
How many miles on your current car? What's the tranny doing to make you think it's going out?
