    It makes me sick. Having two young daughters (4 and 2) and a son (8 months), it really hits home. I couln't imagine ever laying a hand on my kids let alone looking at them and doing something so gruesome.

    I've always been a supporter of an eye for an eye. Let's line these "parents" up on the chopping block.

      I'll never understand the complete disregard for human life. Whatever their punishment is, it won't be enough. Maybe taking off one body part at a time with a dull knife!

        That's absolutely horrible. Some people are just flat out human filth who serve absolutely no purpose in life. They deserve poetic justice....

          I just can't comprehend how someone could hurt a child...I just can't. I am going through the craziness of raising a four year old. He is definitely challenging and he definitely gets on my nerves at times, but he is also the most wonderful boy in the world. I love him so much. Regardless of how upset I am with him, I never let a day go by that I don't tell him how much I love him and what a good boy he is even if I am so frustrated that I am about to pull my hair out. Even though children are a lot of work, they are a gift; I am so thankful to have my son. Our society really needs to assess their priorities. It is not just these people, our society, culture, and values produce these people. We have come up so many ways to devalue life. I see so little respect for others these days.

            That is the saddest thing I have ever heard. It makes you relize there is no possible way to properly punish sombody for a crime like that, that poor little girl

                  That's sick.. I don't know what's with these people today. How could you do something like that to a child.. I hope they get the maximum.
