Anyone have any ideas on what wheel to use on a 95 Camaro, for a M.T. Drag Radial. Back spacing, width, bolt spacing, brand, type??? Thanks Dave.

What size drag radial? 15" , 16", 17" Used only on the track, or also on the street?

    All 4th Gens are 5 bolts on a 4.75" (120.65mm) circle.

For an 8" wide wheel, use a 5.5" to 6.5" backspace
    For a 10" wide wheel, use a 7.5" backspace.

For 16" drag radials, just use a set of 16x8 stock/take-off wheels.

For 15" drag radials, you can get 2 different wheels that don't need grinding of the brake calipers... the Centerline Telstar (15x8 5.5" BS only) - relatively inexpensive. Or the Bogart Billet P1 specifically for the 4th Gen, 15x9.5 7.?? BS - but for those you are talking over $300 per wheel.

The alternate is the Weld Pro-Star or Draglite. They make the correct offsets, but the brake calipers need grinding and you may need longer studs.

Tell us the tire size and how you plan to use them.

Thanks for the input, will probably go with the take offs, as this will only be an occasional weekend warrior. 60' with the stock motor was a poor 2.2, so some kind of tire is needed with the modified setup.

The factory 16x8 salad shooters are the lightest 4th gen wheel, Those with a 255/60 drag radial hooks great.

Picked up a pair at the salvage yard, and ordered MT 16" drag radials today. Will be sure to line up next to some ricers at the track. Motor has 1000 miles on it now, and it feels stronger. Track time will be the real proof. Wish me luck!!!
