  • What causes passenger side to be lower than Drivers side

What causes passenger side to be lower than Drivers side on my 1995 Formula Lt1. I have already replaced the rear shocks and that did not help. Please reply. You can E-Mail me at husry@sowega.net

Driver Weight. The car is best with one driver no passengers. So, the raised driver side equals out with a driver.

This may be wrong, but I thought I heard that somewhere?

2005 GTO, Quicksilver, 6-Speed, DynaTech LT's and thats it. 366.6 hp/366.7 tq last time I checked.

Mine is lower on the p/s as well. I never thought anything of it. I hear about it with a lot of people I figured it's normal.

I'm not positive on it either but I agree with you guys. The battery, ac components, spare tire and jack are located on the passenger side. I wonder if GM did this intentionally to even out the weight of having a driver?

Yup. Could be better, but an effort nevertheless.

I had the same problem on my 3rd Generation Camaro. I bought these rubber "coil spring boosters" and put only one on the side that was sagging. It leveled it out for less than 20 bucks.

              Thanks for the input

Thanks for the replies I am going to go ahead and replace the rear springs and if that does not solve the problem then I will use the coil spring insert and use a cheap fix. Thanks to all who replied.
