  • Question for V6 guys and about foglights????

Does anyone with a 3.8L have the K&N filter charger kit? Thinking about buying one and just curious if anyone has it and what kind of gains, if any it produced. Also my bird doesn't have factory foglights and I was wondering if anyone knew where I could order some, dealer wants $160 a piece

Check ebay for the fog lights. I remember seeing the same sets they used on the firehawk forsale. I have small ones mounted on mine and they look almost identical to the ones they used on the firehawk. I had to make mounts for mine, but it wasn't too hard.

I have a K&N filterchager on mine with the Whisper air box lid. As far as noticeable gains, there is no SOTP noticeable difference. It does however change the sound of the car a little bit. The combination I have is supposed to give about a 15hp gain...which is not very noticable, but still helpful. It also improved my gas mileage a bit. Not sure on the fog lights, as I don't have them either. Good luck, man.

            K & N for V6/3800

I replaced my air filter with a K&N filter on its first oil change around 5000 miles. I've noticed the car sounds a little meaner, and some slight mileage increase per tank. My car now has 68,000 miles and has had 2 re-charge kits on the same K&N without any problems. It's a pretty good investment. Just keep it maintained.

My car didnt have factory fog lights either. My friend gave me some for free and I installed them where the grille is on my camaro. I'm sure you can find some really cheap on ebay that'll fit in there. As for the K&N intake, it'll have the same gains as any other intake.
