Fuel Pump burnt up literally - B-body

I realize this is an f-body board but I really had to show these pictures...I know the chances of this actually causing an intank explosion are virtually 0 but makes ya wonder...

I am glad I changed it now...I wonder if this pump is the same as an f-body pump?
