  • Alright I think I've made a decision

Well I think I'm gonna give up the search for a Trans Am and start saving money up for a house, and of course dump some money into the bird
Any recommendations on what to do first? My car is a 3800, I was thinking about changing the torque converter first, I figure there is no point in making more power if it doesn't get to the wheels efficently so I think I'll start there. Anybody know what kind of converter would be best? How high of a stall speed I should get? Thanks for any advice guys

The decision is easy. Get a house first. If you get the car first, your credit score will be lower due to income/debt ratio. And, you'll be so excited, you might spend your money on mods and not save much. This will only delay the purchase of your house while interest rates keep rising. Besides, there's nothing like your own pad and especially your own GARAGE to work on your car. Then, when you do get your V8 "acme rocket sled", you can park it inside your garage while bolting on mods. As they say in China, Good Ruck.
