  • I put an offer on a house today

The house is between 9 Mile and 8 Mile, just west of Woodward It's in a fantastic location, and the house is in great shape!

The "porch" is hilarious... apparently the guy who lives there was grandfathered in to the city laws that were passed that said how a porch needs to be built. Well, it obviously isn't up to code, and the city tried to fine him. But because he was grandfathered in, he fought it in court and won, and now keeps the porch there to spite the city... lol...

It wouldn't be a big deal to put in a porch anyway, so I'm not worried about it.

The house is awesome! I can't wait to see if I get it!

    It's 1050 sq feet; 3 bed, 1 bath.

    That porch is hilarious.

I don't know how the houses are in the area you are looking but consider this. With 2 bathrooms you can have a problem with one and not be without a shower or toilet. Or you can remodel one and still have the other. I've been there done that.
2002 Electron Blue Vette, 1SC, FE3/Z51, G92 3.15 gears, 308.9 RWHP 321.7 RWTQ (before any mods), SLP headers, Z06 exhaust, MSD Ignition Wires, AC Delco Iridium Spark Plugs, 160 t-stat, lots of ECM tuning

    1995 Z28, many mods, SOLD

Would be a bonus to have 2 bathrooms for sure... but in that area, it's out of my price range, and I'd rather live some place where I can walk to everything I need than live out in the 'burbs...
