car trouble !

95 3.4l somtimes starts runs for 1 minute then dies somtimes doesnt start at all.....general problem is gas not reaching the injectors.
weird thing is it shows some conection to the fuel guage needle poping way out of range in full direction when the car dies, then when the guage needle is proper i can start it back on (or when it starts back on the guage is in proper position) so question is what makes the fuel guage needle rise way out of range, n then somtimes back into range.... can the fuel pump arm be stuck up way high were it isnt reaching gas, is that even possible? or is it some short circuit i have to find... or (plz tell me this isnt the case) the computer going nuts on me n i need a new one

plz what troubleshooting methods should i do at this moment

well how do i test for fuel pump failure, is there a bypass wire on this car? is there a fuse for the fuel pump or a relay i can test n see if they are fine or not? i didnt find any fuses in fuse box nor under hood for the fuel pump.

somthing else i realized is the ABS INOP can all these problems be conected to same main problem? some kind of harness isnt connected properly with all these wires hooked to it? were do it look for it?

Chances are that if the cart runs fine, then dies and parts of the IP cluster go haywire or won't turn on at all, you could be getting a bad ignition switch. It is located on the backside of the steering column, all of the IP cluster's power goes though it, when mine acted up sometimes the car wouldn't start. Sometimes it ran perfectly and just shut off. Just a thought...

whatever is causing the fuel guage needle to skyrocket is what is causing the fuel not to reach the engine, but somehow it also shut down the ABS

i checked the ABS/fuel pump harnes under the fuel tank it is fine, i cleaned it just in case.

any thoughts?

if i have bad grounding from battery to chassis can it cause this?

thing is i had a wreck a month ago so its been in body shop ever since, now its been running fine for two days, even the abs is operational, i realy dont get it, the first day we even tried charging the battery on external charger just in case it was weak but that didnt do it, n just somhow the day after that its working fine, i dont get it, i hate it when problem isnt found n just gets solved, ya never know when it come back again...
