I was wondering if anyone could direct me to, or provide themselves, a manual of one kind or another on removing the A/C unit out of my car, it doesn't have a compressor and chances are since it ran on frion I wont be able to get one, so I was thinking of removing it for a little less weight. Any info is always appreciated.

Sorry to be off topic, but have you ever put the pin striping back on the passenger side of the car on the front fender? I noticed in you sig pic that its missing. You can retro fit the old system of a/c to a new standard for about $145 including the cooling gas fluid what ever you want to call it. Or if your adventurous and can find a mechanic to do it I have herd you can use Propane to replace the freeon. Doesnt work quite as well but close. Im always thinking if it ever broke you got flamible vapor but then again if you drive a propane car and get in an accident it leaks to so it cant be to dangerous.

thanks for the info, that's a pic of the car the day I bought at the guys house in New Jersey. It does have pinstriping running from the rear quarter, to the front fender along the side, It isn't very clear in the pic, the only thing that's really missing from it is the decals, any advice on where to pick some up? The reason I was talking about removing the A/C stuff is becuase I was thinking of changing the headers and I wasn't sure if they would mount to the bracket or not.-Dan

I think I misunderstood you the first time, you were referring to the fade at the bottom, apparently that's the only part they missed, but I have been looking to put it back on there, everything else is intact.-Dan
