not mentioning names (yes...another tragedy)...... a long time board member here lost his wife to a strange blood disorder last week.... and his grandmother died the same day......

he's an awesome guy, with a good head on his shoulders... knows cars, and has been around for a while. say a prayer for him. he's a good friend of mine, and one heck of a dude.

that is nearly exactly what happend to my family in Feb. (Great uncle died of blood infection (staph inf. resistant to all known medicines) and a great aunt intestinal cancer) that were brother/sister within a week of each other... please tell him that we here on the board are praying for him and give our most sincere codolences

I thought I better post up. I am the one Ken is talking about. In the beginning of this board I was Ralph 99 WS6 TA. I used to live in the DC/MD/VA area and knew Ken from those days. I am now in Buffalo.

I met my wife Kelly 16 months ago. She had 2 daughters 14 and 19. We bought a new house in July and moved in as a family. She was diagnosed with MDS which is similiar to Leukemia but without the cancer cells. She went in the hospital Feb. 8th and was there until she passed May 2nd. She had a bone marrow transplant on February 15th and had a hard fight. A blood clot to her lung is what took her. She was 42.

We were married on January 21st just prior to her hospital stay.

Now we are picking up the pieces. The kids are moving back with their Dad which I guess makes sense. It kills me though, they are special kids and I love them to death.

My grandmother also passed away 30 minutes after Kelly.

Just enjoy everyday with your GF/Wife/Sig other as if it was the last. You just never know how long they will be around......
