Hey everybody-
On the fiero forums, there have been several debates over the stock 3.4 F-body cam specs. I have bought an L32 with some performance modifications done to it to swap into my 86 Fiero, but I would like to know what the factory cam specs are. The engine I purchased has a custom grind cam from Comp Cams, but I am now wondering if it is MILDER than a stock cam, which of course would be a bad thing. The engine is located 2 hours away from me, and so is the cam card, so I don't know the exact specs (I saw the card before, and looked it over, but didn't write them down like a moron).
Either way, what are the stock specs on a Camaro l32? From what I found they are:
Intake Duration: 195 degrees
Exhaust Duration: 201 degrees
Camshaft Intake Lift: 0.263 in
Camshaft Exhaust Lift: 0.273 in
Lobe Separation : 109 degrees
Intake Centerline: 111.5 degrees
Lifter: Hydraulic Flat Tappet
Rocker Arm Ratio: 1.5:1
Intake Lift: 0.394 in
Exhaust Lift: 0.409 in
