  • Planning ahead, i have some questions

What kind of power gains would i get from porting my heads? I'm expecting it to cost about $1000 or so, so i have to start saving. I need to get a stage 2 clutch first. Do you guys think i should keep my steel flywheel or switch to an aluminum one? If i port my heads, i'm porting the bejesus out of them. What is it, a three angle port job i believe? Would it be pointless to do if i don't have headers? What kind of numbers would i pick up with an LT4 hot cam? Would it raise my redline? Is that a good cam or should i consider something else?

What kind of gains in the quarter would i see if i swapped to 4.10 gears?
Would a chromoly K member effect streetability at all?

Last question- Does anyone know where i can get some nice, lightweight racing seats without going broke? All the decent ones i've seen would run me at least $800 for a pair. Thanks guys.
Red 95 Trans Am: M6, Moroso CAI, Magnaflow, Spohn sway bars, back to life as of 2/15/10!!!

2006 Ford Fusion: 2.3, 5 speed, could run 15lbs of boost with a 150 shot and it'd still be slow

well for the ported heads question you could always go with a loyed elliot package which would be better then running a tiny hot cam with heads ported to the max since the head flow and cam specs would work well together
