  • Once more I ask for all of your wisdom

Alright I've kinda been thinking about this car ......

    http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...=en&cardist=80

the only thing I don't like about it is how high miles it has, but that also means it's cheaper it's been for sale for a while now, the kelly blue book private party value on it is only 300 below what he's asking, I'm thinking about offering him less than that, any suggestions on what to offer, should I be concerned that it has such high miles? Thanks in advance for any advice guys

I wouldn't worry about what KBB says it worth. $8,600 is too much though, but this is only the asking price. Are you close enough to check it out and drive it? Others can chime in as to what to look for when you see it first hand. It looks clean and I wouldn't be too concerned about the miles unless it is going to be a daily driver. Then they will add up quick.

I'm thinking if it is clean and mechanically sound I would offer him $7500.00

88,000 miles is a lot for the asking price, especially without t-tops. If the car is clean and checks out, I'd say it's worth at least trying to offer $7,500 as tclelland said.
