  • Best street tire in 315 width

I have the Firehawks on my car right now. I've boughht sets of 11" x 17" rims for the back to put drag tires, auto-x tires and street tires on. Since the Firehawks have been discontinued, I'll end up looking for something else for the street tires. I want the dry tractyion obviously but also want wet traction for the street as well. It would be evne better if I can get them in a 315 width.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks!!!

I don't know if BFG makes the KDW in a 315/35/17 or not, but if they do, I'd get that. I'd love to have them, but they are just way too expensive for me. I personally run Sumitomo's and have no problems with them even though some have complained of low mileage and questionable dragstrip traction. Mine have been on the car for 4 years and I just now bought another set, not to mention my car has withstood a 5k clutch drop and the tires just flat hooked up so the car bogged. Still though, if I was a millionaire, I'd buy the KDW's, because you just about have to be one to afford them

I'll have a set of drag radials for drag racing and a complete set of auto-x tires, so maybe the KDW's for the street may be what I'd want.

      Any other recommendations???
