  • 4th gen. Front Suspension Differences?

Are there any differences in the front supension components between 93-97 and 98-02 in our cars, are the parts interchangeable between the years, like the front lower and upper arms, front shock and spring, the upper/lower ball joints, rack and pinion and the steering nuckle? Thanks in advance.

Most of the parts you mentioned are identical, at least dimensionally. You will find differences in spring rates and shock valving because of the differences in weight between the V6, the LT1 and the LS1 engines. The big exception is the steering knuckles. The 98+ is different than the 97 and earlier. While they will both bolt to the same ball joints, the provisions for brake mounting is different.
