    Hi Guys!

    I have a 1997Z28!

I changed the oil and I know your supposed to put in 5Qt's oil but since GM don't make the AC Delco PF35 anymore I went to using the K&N HP2002 oil filter so I can't get my car to hold the full 5Qt's of oil. I can get it to hold all except 4 Oz's in the fifth quart.

Is this okay since the dip stick shows full? or should I just add the last of the bottle which is 4 Ozs?

I need to know despirately. Pleaseeee!

    Thanks Lee!

If the dipstick shows full, you are all good.

Is it showing full before or after you started the motor for the first time on the new oil? I run the K&N oil filter and have been using 5 full quarts with no problems.
