Looks awesome. I really need to "wake up" the paint on my T/A. I tried using a clay bar and some expensive (non-Zaino) cleaner wax, but it just feels smoother. It's got a haze to it. Will Zaino take out the haze and fine scratches also? I've used anti-swirl wax before, but never worked right.

I want to order Zaino this week, but just making sure it's worth the $116 for the kit.

Great car, Ken. One of the nicest looking Goats I've seen, old or new.

                    thanks...broh.

well... the haze might be the paint....right?

before you zaino... wash it several times with blue liquid dawn dishwashing soap. that will remove all the residue and any wax you have been using. by using his z1 that will prepare the surface and get anything else off of there.... then polish. then go to mixing the zfx with the polish for xtra gloss and durability......

there's a guy on this board that can tell you what it did to his third gen

good luck on it!!!! hope it comes out the way you expect.

                      Thanks, Ken.

I think the hazing is just due to poor care and maintenance from the previous owner. The thing is, the paint looks great as far as how smooth it is. It looks like it should be able to be polished to a wet look, but I just haven't been able to get it there. I almost thought about bringing it to a body shop and have it wet sanded and buffed, but I'll try the Zaino first.

                      Thanks again.

                          Ken....

Old dog wants to learn new tricks

You know what my Formula looks like.... fairly clean, and maybe (only) 20 or so coats of Zaino. I started many years ago, did the Dawn, the clay, the Z-1, Z-5, yada yada.... and it looks decent for an 11 year old car.

I've got a supply of most of the products, and I assume that if I picked up the ZFX and the Z-2Pro I will have everything I need to keep adding the layers without stripping it and starting all over. The finish is silky smooth, looks good, and you know it NEVER leaves the garage more than a few times a year. I just need that "extra" gloss.... and I think the ZFX and Z-2Pro is all that I need.

                          Correct?

                          Fred

correct Fred. i'd clay it first, then zfx/z2pro then z8 on top. cant get any better than that!
