Judging by the silver engine bay, I would suspect the car used to be silver before it was wrecked and repaired. The hood catch is also silver, like they forgot to paint it red. I wonder what the door jambs look like.

Good catch, Tracy. I didn't notice that until you pointed it out. I still can't believe that car went for $7,000 with a salvage title and 93k on the clock.

If he wanted to be correct in his "clone" terminology, he should have called it a "Formula" clone, not a "Trans Am" clone, as that is the V6/Formula front end.
That's ok, though. Whatever idiot paid that much also doesn't know that an LS1 Formula are very rare, or they think a Formula is a V6 car in the first place
