        Judging by the silver engine bay, I would suspect the car used to be silver before it was wrecked and repaired. The hood catch is also silver, like they forgot to paint it red. I wonder what the door jambs look like.

          Good catch, Tracy. I didn't notice that until you pointed it out. I still can't believe that car went for $7,000 with a salvage title and 93k on the clock.

          Tracy - If you see someone in Wisconsin doing cartwheels down the street, it's the guy who sold that car.

              If he wanted to be correct in his "clone" terminology, he should have called it a "Formula" clone, not a "Trans Am" clone, as that is the V6/Formula front end.

              That's ok, though. Whatever idiot paid that much also doesn't know that an LS1 Formula are very rare, or they think a Formula is a V6 car in the first place

                wont a salvage title push up the insurance anyway ? why not pay for a v8 without the salvage title ?
