  • carbon fouled

First I would like to thank all of you who helped with the 95 power windows
Now I have a problem with my 78 Camaro
    350 4-bolt
    comp mag 280H
    trickflow23 degree heads
    RPM air gap
    Performer 750
    Trickflow 1.5 rockers
Holley mech fuel pump 110gph 6-8psi
Carbon fouled plugs. Am on my fifht set. Changed carb to the edelbrock in
place of Holley750 dbbl. This did no good. Leaned the edel. 1/2 turn still
fouling. Started with autolite 3924 changed to hotter 3926 still same problem
Would really like to get this car on the road. All parts listed have just been installed except for the cam
Have not been able to drive yet. I can watch it load up in about 5 minutes.
Are the plugs still too cold ?
Before this set up the car ran with stock heads performer intake same cam
and the holley. At a loss

    thanks

give one of these a shot....

    1978 chevy 350 4brl
    • V-Power UR4 SN:6630 Gap: 0.045
    • G-Power Platinum UR4GP SN:2869 Gap: 0.045
    • Iridium IX UR4IX SN:7401 Gap: 0.045

You can go to your local advance auto parts store, give them the Stock Number and have the plugs in a day or so.

Note: Don't change the gap from the manufacturer recomended gap, if you do you will alter the advertised heat range or tip temperature of the plug.
