  • Tranny leak.

For a while now I have been having a small transmission leak which seemed to have stopped itself, the weird thing is that tranny was hardly leaking at all until I go to add a little fluid and it started leaking again. So could it be the pan maybe? Also would running a shift kit cause a leak in a transmission to increase?

The shift kit would not cause an increase in external leaks.....internal, yes. If its leaking after the fluid is up the full mark, than its probably the pan gasket, unless you are overfilling it, which may lead to fluid puking out the breather.
