Hey guys thanks for the comments but i just don't have the 2000.00 for a set of the sweet Z06 wheels or i would have them lol. The car is a 1998 z28. I don't know about the hood or body kit if someone could help me out on that deal of what it is but i now know some of the perf. mods to it.........
    4.11 gears
    K&N Air Filter
Ported and Polished Heads and Matched Intake Manifolds with 3 Angle Valve Job
    Borla Quad Tip Exhaust Kit
    Performance Built transmission
and i belive there is a type of programmer that was used because i didn't think that the car stock went to high to shift and broke the tires loose in second and chirp them in 3rd. the car is an auto by the way. what would you guys say would be a smart next mod that isn't like going to make me broke like a blower or Nitrous or Turbo
    and i'm from lancaster, pa

First of all...nice camaro....and welcome to the boards

You said you have 4.11's Are you sure that it's not 4.10's...I'm not positive, but I think that 4.11:1 is a ford rear end gear ratio.

You also said you have a performance built tranny....do you have a higher stall torque converter then? I suggest finding out and knowing how high the stall is if you have one.

Chirping your tires through the gears is an amazing feeling by the way....you gotta love it Our cars are more than capable of doing that...very normal.
If you want to know if your computer has been tuned, I suggest seeing if your fans come on at around 180-185 degrees, or if you shift out at more than 5800 rpm's at WOT. I'm not positive, but I believe that is the stock programming for shifting.

As for the next mod....a nice exhaust setup is always a nice way to go. Look into headers, y-pipe, high flow cat, and a catback. Alot of this also depends on if you want to stay emissions legal. If you want to stay legal, then you're going to have to get the proper exhaust components for this. If not, then the world is your oyster so to speak.

Also, how is your air intake routed. Make sure that the air coming in is as cool as possible. If it were my car, I would have my airbox right where that hood scoop is....assuming you don't have it set up like that already.

A lower degree thermostat + a good computer tuning are a couple other things to consider. Higher stall torque converters can also knock a couple tenths of the et's as well.

With extra power though, you should look in to setting up your suspension. Some good subframe connectors, a shock tower brace, an adjustable panhard rod, and some adjustable lower control arms can make a world of difference.

Others will surely chime in. The LS1 guys here know alot and know what mods are the best bang for the buck. I have an LT1, so my knowledge on an LS1 is still limited.

Good luck, drive safely (that @ss end can swing out on ya at times ) and enjoy her
