  • NFB freak?

Tami saw me kiss the steering wheel of the Z yesterday. She thought I was a freak for it!

So, honestly guys, how many of you have kissed your car? And I dont need to know if they involved tongue or not! (Mine don't)

I'm guilty...no one ever caught me doing so though. LOL...I kiss her on the t-tops...steering wheel, fender, hood...you name it. LOL...errr, nm don't name it. To us, it's our way of bonding with our cars. To others, it's just plain strange and unexplainable.

Hate to see what Ken lists as his areas of passion. LOL!!!!

I'm guilty. After i get through something hectic (like driving in a blizzard or nearly getting into an accident) with my car, i usually caress it and start talking to it. My girlfriend just laughs at me

Wow....I never realized there were as many lame people as myself....I too am guilty Here I thought I was a lame freak for givin' her a kiss from time to time right in the 'ol gears. Just take that diff cover off, let the fluid pour all over my face, and go right to town on those c-clips. I don't even have to try and covince her to take her bra off also, she doesn't like 'em...

I seriously will give her a kiss on the steering wheel from time to time though....what can I say....it's true love

I can't say I've ever kissed it (you're all freaks!) but I've patted it on the dash after it's done me good and talk to it. Usually it's when I wash it in the rain and snow that I'm labled a freak. SOme people just don't understand

OK, I feel better now. I'm in good company. To those of you who have not kissed your car lately, go out and lay one on her!

Never used tongue, but many times have I kissed my car and parts that came in the mail. I love it. I fall on the hood and hug it, I pet the dash when I kick a mustangs ass, etc... I talk to it, whatever. He's my boy

After I picked up my car from the dealer, I started taking off all the ricer style extras the previous owner put all over it. After the first time I washed it and pulled it into the garage, I had a long talk with it as I wiped her down. I explained how she'll live a much better life now, and be taken care of for the rest of her years.

My wife walked in on this conversation, just shook her head and left. Later she told me I don't even talk to her that way. I tried explaining that I would if she always wore leather, purred like a tiger when I fired her up, and let me take her out for a ride whenever I wanted.... Then I ducked!

Guilty! I don't kiss my car(s), but I do talk to them from time to time. More than once after I have washed and (maybe) Zaino-ed my car, and after I've put the cover on her and "tucked her in", I've run my hands over her and said things like "beautiful car" or "nice car". I even (forgive me) talk nicely to my wife's Taurus wagon after I've cleaned it.

Psychiatrists would probably be able to use any of us as case studies. Face it: We're n-n-n-n-nuts!

Actually, I would be a little worried if a guy didn't lay one on their f-bod every now and then.

Don't worry Trace, you're amongst sane, rational, muscle car lovers.

There was this one time I should have ran out of gas, my gauge was on total E.. I was sitting there talking to my car 'come on baby, just get us to a gas station.. I know your thirsty. I'll get you some of that premium 93 you like'

I kissed the T-tops while I was filling her up, I think it's happend more then once. Thank god my gauges are a little of or something.
