I have heard of people removing the isolator and then putting a section of heater hose on the bottom coil to act as an islator. I guess it does lower the car a bit.2000 Camaro SS..........6 speed triple blackComment

from what i have heard is you take out the isolater and put rubber hose around the spring. Yes i want to lower the back now that i lowered the front. I have BMR springs but they are extremely bouncy and was wondering if just taking out the spacer would be alright.I LOVE COBRA'S -

I did it. All you need to do is pull the springs and spray the inside of the hose with WD40. Slip the 5/8's inch heater hose around the top coil and reinstall. There will be no increase in noise or ride harshness.
