    on my 96 lt1 trans am im having a cylinder misfire problem and I have changed plugs ,wires due to my longtube headers burning them.I also have a problem with the oil pressure gauge going crazy on hot day, any clue on how to cure my problems.Id realy like to have anyones input thanks.

    When you changed wires, did you happen to re-use the metal shrouds on several of the plug boots? If those were installed backwards, the clips will touch the base of the spark plugs and create a tough to trace misfire.

      no i didnt need to use the shrouds because my high temp plugs didnt require me to.

        Hooking it up to a scanner would be very helpful in diagnosing your problem. How many miles are on your car. If your getting near 100k it may be time for a full tune up. You can pick up a coil and coil wire at parts distributor like auto zone for fairly cheap so you can roll that out. If I had to bet money on it though I'd say opti.
