  • These Wheels/Tires Fit (Drag Radials)

Hey guys i found these for about 100 bucks plus shipping and i was wondering if they would fit they are "Firebird" 5 spoke rims and the tires are 255/50/16 and i need to know if they would fit my 98 camaro z28 and with drag radials do you do a burnout or no? i know with reg. st. tires it hurts the time to do a burnout but with drag radials should i get them sticky

Assuming the "Firebird 5-spokes" are from a 4th Gen 'bird, they will bolt directly to your Z28 with the correct offset and bolt pattern. They should be the same 16x8" size as your stock wheels. The 255/50's are the only 16" size available in most drag radial lines. They are typically 26" diameter, which is about 1/3" larger than the stock tires.

I think you just have to try the DR's and see how they respond to a burnout, and how big - the risk with treaded tires is picking up water in the tread and dragging it to the starting line. My BFG's seem to like a little heat, but I never really use them at the track.
