Don't ya just love open headers?

Replaced the header gaskets with fel-pro 1406s and they seal great. Since my Random Tech Y pipe is an easy unbolt, I took a little blast through town with open headers. Yikes, it's been a while since I did that. This "old" LT-1 sings a great song at 6K rpm.

Oh yea, that's gotta be one of the best sounds in the world I've only heard mine at idle and low RPMs though...I can't even imagine what it sounds like at 6k, like you experienced

when i had my formula 350 my i ran through a puddle one time which ripped the intermediate pipe from the cat. yeh it sounded crazy good.

Yes, I finished my headers at like 7 pm. Drove with open headers the rest of the night and by the next day I didn't want to put my catback on. Put it on the next day and I was missing my open headers already
