    VATS is pretty much a usless box to a thief that knows about the car. now to have a lojack installed, or onstar that is a much better system.

    or you could build a pain field generator and installed it.

      Well, it's done and over with...I did the bypass.

      BUT, I came up with an ingenious idea...at least I think so. I figured I can add a switch or button to turn "off and on" VATS.

      I figured I can wire a switch and mount it out of sight...I would put a switch before the resistor so if the switch is off, the VATS is tripped and the car won't start regardless...but if it's on, the current flows to the resistor and everything works like clock work.

      I figured it's a pretty good idea and it adds a lil more personality and custom touch to her.

      Thanks again guys...not more worries about me being stranded.
